Moscati Apothecary Co.

This project came about after I spent the past few years researching my family history. I was able to trace my paternal line to the early 16th century and discovered the origins of my family name. A man named Pietro ran an apothecary in Serino, Italy, where he made medicines using herbs and other natural ingredients. Due to the nature of his work, and the fragrant smells associated with his shop, he was given the nickname "Muscato," or "musky-smelling," and it stuck. This project is my interpretation of what the company's brand could have looked like today.
