Various Portraits of The Mother is the debut album by the band My Lady Dorothy. I relied on visuals of candlelight, parchment paper, ornate frames, and oil paintings to create the band's baroque pop aesthetic. Included are a lyric poster typeset in Adobe Jenson Pro and a still life poster where each song is represented by an object.
